Lotus Groups—Support and Personal Healing for Women

Therapeutic Support Groups, Daytime, Evenings and Weekends

Lotus women are “alive” with possibility--small groups of women connecting with each other —sharing your stories and your challenges in a safe setting with guidance on our journey toward strength and healing.

We will be dealing with issues such as:  transitional times in your life, depression, family/marital issues, emotional healing from illness, grief, etc., or just wanting to grow as a person. We will use creative exercises and other modalities which enhance your self-understanding.  See Calendar below

 Venerable Women

Hurrah to those of us who have reached the age of wisdom!!  This group is for women who want to share life experiences in a setting geared to mature women.  We will re-member and gather your “legacy” of knowledge to pass along, and receive guidance for a vibrant future.  See Calendar below

 “SoulCollage®”Group-Evenings

After receiving an introduction to “SoulCollage®”, you will engage in a fantastic ongoing process of exploring your inner connections to Soul!   You will work on your deck of cards and develop an understanding of your life’s journey in an insightful and rewarding way.  Sharing these discoveries will be enhanced by being part of a group of women who are also working on self-knowledge. See Calendar below

Workshops & Retreats

· “SoulCollage®”  Workshop

SoulCollage® has been received enthusiastically all over the world by people who have engaged in this exciting process of self-discovery.  In our full-day workshop you will be introduced to the process and begin creating your own cards.  Although it is a creative tool, no artistic ability is necessary.  You will participate in demonstrations of how deeply insightful it can be when we practice with the cards.   For more information see: www.soulcollage.com    Check with the Fern Haven Center Calendar for Current date of workshop

· The Way of  the Venerable Women

 · Women’s Retreats

Time away from stress and routines—It’s being planned!   Soon we hope to be offering quality women’s retreats in special out of the way places where you will be surrounded by natural beauty and have the benefit of sharing this time with women who can support you.  We will have activities and also space to just be still.  Keep checking with us for progress.

ABOUT SUSKAsuska

After “sixty something” years of life, and a good bit of trial and error, I have a fair understanding about how to assist women with finding their way toward well-being and a sense of personal power.

I've had experience with two unsuccessful relationships. Fortunately, I am still partnered with Rod—it’s been thirty-five years.  We have three children and three grandchildren, so far.   My education focused on groups, counseling, women’s studies, conflict resolution and communication in relationships.  In addition to a current counseling practice, I lead workshops and trainings, and struggle to find the time to express myself as an artist/craftsperson.  I previously worked in education, social work and business.
